It's been a long time since my last post. I'm kind of busy this summer. It's like in that song *the summer is crazy*. So much to do and so little time. Guess this is what you get after graduating ^__^
The best thing is that we now have inet at the office, which is quite helpful - gives an awesome opportunity to spam in my lj more often ^__~ |

You won’t believe but I’m actually alive ^__~ Last month I was too busy working on my diploma, visiting Real Estate conferences, doing marketing researches for my boss and attending CCIM courses.

3) The last book I read?
I've just finished "Ring 2: Spiral" and I'm in the middle of "Chronicles of Echo".
The ending of Ring 2 really impressed me! The conception of how to get rid of humanity and how to use mass media is shocking! Chronicles are just light reading, sometimes I like to enjoy myself and read something funny ^___^
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?

1) Paulo Coelho "Manual of the Warrior of Light"
My most favorite book, which I can reread till eternity!
2) Dan Simmons "The Fall of Hyperion"
This book shocked me! Nothing fancy - just another sci-fi, but it has some scenes in it, which took my breath away and which I'll never forget.
3)All books about Moomins by Tove Jansson.
I sooo like them. Her characters are my most favorite ^___^ They never fail to make smile ^_~
4) Stephen King "The Long Walk"
Another book that really shocked and impressed me a lot. It's not a horror story. Simple plot: 100 young men are walking. When a walker breaks a rule, such as stopping to tie his shoe, he gets a "ticket." 3 tickets and you're dead. So basically you can't stop at all. The last boy walking wins "the prize." That's about all I'll tell you, because you have to find what happens next yourself ^___^

Hell, yes! It's a book and the one I can't leave without!

Actually I was planning to write about my weekend and the Star Wars premier, but with the recent events in Moscow it’ll have to wait. I’m shocked by what has happened! It was one thing to watch something like this 2 years ago on TV in USA but it’s another thing to have it in your own country, not to mention in the capital, which you left 2 days ago!!! I really hope that everything and everyone will be ok and that they’ll restore electricity ASAP!Current Mood:  worried |

2 train tickets because next weekend I'm going to Maxidrom!!! Yeah!!! I'll see The Servant and Franz Ferdinand!!!
But the most precious is the last one. Me and Die bought VIP tickets for Star Wars premier!!! We'll see it a day earlier than the rest of the country. Oh, my I want May 18!!! The week is over!!! Hurray!!! And now we have 4 free days ahead!!! I want the 9th of May!!! I really do!!! One of my favorite days ever. For the past weeks I've been watching them decorating the city and preparing celebration. Red, white and blue flag everywhere. Good wishes and pictures! I'm sooo proud of my country and I'm sooo grateful to all those people, who made this day possible!!!
He, and I'm Saiyuki mood again ^__^ *headdesk* It'll never stop. I don't like Hakkai that much, but apparently I'm a sucker for him in glasses, especially after Reload vol.4. And to spread my obsession I present you this pic ( Hakkai )Current Mood: cheerful |

I got 5 for Government Exam!!! I'm ecstatic!!! I think I'll go crazy from happiness!!! I score 5 for every subject and I'm so proud of myself! Two weeks of waiting for results have paid off. All I have left is write a good diploma and I'll be able to enter UBC! ^__^Current Mood: crazy |

Liked Kain's dj as well. So funny! I just don't understand why some people don't like her art. Oh well, we all have different tastes ^__^

Well, I promised to write about Tsubasa Chronicles so here we go.
We have 4 main heroes. Each comes from a different world (except Sakura and Shaoran - they are from the same). Each has its own story. Sakura is a princess and Shaoran is an archeologist (kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones ^__^). And everything would have been if not for the strange ruins not far from the palace. And when we have strange ruins strange things are bound to happen their ^_~ Strange creatures emerge from the ruins and attack the country. Meanwhile Sakura sleepwalks to the temple under the ruins. Shaoran tries to save her and in process Sakura looses the feathers of her soul. They scatter all over dimensions. the problem is that without them she'll die. The royal magician Yukito decides to send unconscious Sakura and Shaoran to Dimension Witch, who will help them. Meanwhile Sakura's brother Touya is fighting off strange creatures.
In a different world a local princess Tomoyoa sends a warrior Kurogane to a Dimension Witch as well. Frankly speaking I didn't understand a reason for it. Something a long the lines that he's the strongest warrior in the country and has noone to fight with so he might as well look for a suitable opponent in a different world.
And finally we have Fai the magician! He's leaving he's world because he sealed king Ashura and can't stay in the same world as the king anymore. So far Fai is the most mysterious character, because he's reasons for dimension traveling are unknown.
Anyway, the heroes arrive to Dimension Wish. Each of them wants to travel through different world. Shaoran to collect Sakura's soul feathers, Kurogane to return to his own word and Fai not to return to his own. But to get help from the Witch they have to give her something special in return. For Kurogane it's his precious katana, for Fai it a tattoo on his back (don't know what was so peculiar about it -_- will have to look it up in the mange or wait till they explain it in anime) and for Shaoran his relationship with Sakura. It means when Sakura regain conscious she'll won't remember Shaoran. Because they have nothing else to do and being desperate in Shaoran’s case (he has a dieing Sakura in his arms) they agree. The Witch gives them a strange creature Mokone, which will allow them to travel through dimensions. Thus, adventure begins...
The animation is top quality, you just have to get used to longlimbed characters and that about all ^__^ the music is awesome!!! It's said the characters from different CLAMP mangas will appear. So far I've seen in mange from X and RG Vega as well as others, whom I just don't know ^__^ In my opinion Tsubasa Chronicles are worth seeing.
